Just thought I would post my latest pencils I am working on,This is the early stages and I already have changed a lot on Williams face and lips,and moved his eye over ,It is a constant stand back and critque process,I am almost done with this one now.It is called "The Piggy Back Ride"

One of the easiest things you can do is hang a mirror behind you, so you can check your progress by turning around and viewing your painting backwards. This tells you instantly where you are off. Another trick is to turn you painting upside down on the easel. It is much easier to find your negative space with this view.
